Let Concrete Building Supply help you select the proper entrance steps for your project. We have a large selection in stock and ready for immediate delivery. Our steps are finished with a non-skid safety tread and are steel reinforced. Our line of precast entrance steps meets New York State Building Codes.
Selecting the Right Steps for your Project
1) Steps should be installed with the platform six to seven inches below the door threshold. Steps can be installed flush to the threshold, but if a storm door or screen door is present and swings outward, the accumulation of snow during winter months can make the door difficult to open. Please see the entrance step selection guide.
2) The proper width and platform depth will allow for easy and safe access to the door. Consider the distance the door swings outward. How much standing room is left on the platform? Will you have to stand on a step while the door is being opened?
Entrance Step Railings
Concrete Building Supply stocks a wide variety of wrought iron hand railings. Rails can be installed at the time your steps are delivered or they can be added at a later date. Please check your local building codes for railing requirements.
