Advanced Treatment Systems
  
Quanics Advanced Treatment Systems provide options and choices in matching the appropriate technology with the individual application. Our patented delivery system, Single Container Advanced Treatment (SCAT?) is now available with two different fixed film media's.
AeroCell? & Bio-COIR? The AeroCell utilizes a patented synthetic open cell foam media for treatment. The media?s high porosity, large surface area, and ease of microbial attachment allows for loading rates of up to ten times that of other fixed film systems. The open cell foam media has a 15-year track record for effectively treating wastewater to the highest of standards.
The Bio-COIR wastewater treatment system utilizes a patent-pending coir media for treatment. Coir is a generic name for the fibers that constitute the thick mesocarp, or husk, of the coconut fruit. The high lignin content of these fibers results in a more durable material that is slow to degrade and assures that excellent water/air ratio is maintained over a long period of time. This renewable resource has been proven to effectively treat wastewater to secondary levels
Sand Filters have been used for wastewater treatment for over 100 years. They can be used for large flow commercial and residential applications as well as single family dwellings. Quanics sand filter packages provide all components necessary except for the sand media. This includes the liner, STEP package and boot kits. The packages come in a variety of sizes with custom options available.
Constructed Wetland treatment systems are man made engineered marsh like areas designed to treat wastewater through physical, chemical and biological processes. A wetland system can be designed for varying flow ranges from single family to large commercial and community applications. Quanics wetland packages provide all components necessary except for the gravel media and plants. This includes the liner, boot kits, and water level control device. The packages come in a variety of sizes with custom options available.
Dispersal Systems
 
With the quality of effluent that is being achieved by our advanced treatment systems, dispersal system options are many. From Drip Irrigation, Low Pressure Pipe to Mound dispersal systems Quanics has the waste water dispersal field for you.
Quanics? Drip Irrigation systems are quickly becoming the preferred method of wastewater disposal in conjunction with advanced treatment. Sites with limitations such as shallow soil, shallow watertables and limited space can benefit from this technology. The small diameter tubing is flexible, easy to install and requires minimal site disturbance. The shallow placement of 6 inches deep, with no additional cover required, reduces the need for hauling in loads of expensive topsoil.
Quanics ? Low Pressure Pipe packages are designed to be as complete as possible while providing simple and easy installation. They are available in several sizes that cover the most common applications. The laterals, using 5/32-inch holes spaced at 5 feet, come in convenient 5-foot sections. If you can?t find a size that meets your dispersal needs, custom packages are available.
Quanics ? Mound packages use proven and accepted designs and are available in two popular sizes. The lateral layout uses 5/32-inch holes, spaced every 30 inches and has 3 laterals on each side of the manifold. The convenient 6-foot lateral sections make assembly easy. STEP Systems
 
Quanics Septic Tank Effluent Pumping Systems are ideally suited for all on-site wastewater pumping applications, from single family residential to small diameter collection systems. These packages have been pre selected using the most common gallon per day that are used in our industry.
Quanics ? STEPS are ideally suited for: Drain fields, Effluent sewers, Sand filters, Peat filters, Packed bed filters, Mounds, Trickling filters, Aerobic units, Wetlands, Lagoons, Low pressure, Effluent irrigation, as well as other applications.
